NOGL / Product imagery

Product imagery starts with a clear reference.

Keep the product, source version and recorded use context together before deciding what an image brief still needs.

Illustrative local review. Fictional worksheets and original schematic drawings; no generated images, upload, rights verification or publication.

Harbor overshirt

Original schematic drawing; not a photograph, render or generated output.

Requested aspect: 4:5

Separate the product reference from the image brief.

A requested scene, color or crop describes an intention. A source sketch and supplier note describe available context. Neither establishes an accurate finished photograph or a cleared campaign asset.

Keep the inputs traceable.

  1. 01

Product and source version: retain their identifiers and the date of the worksheet. A later version is not automatically the preferred source.

  2. 02

Reference and placement: retain the recorded view, requested aspect and campaign reference. Missing images and unrecorded views stay missing.

  3. 03

Use statement and scope: show the recorded wording separately from a rights decision. Do not inherit permission across versions.

Read the reference context.

Prepared sample context only. The drawing is an authored schematic, not a photograph, render or generated output. Requested aspect is a brief value, not a measured file property.

Recorded source fields

Authored fictional worksheet; all dates and values are fixed samples, not observed product data.

The front sketch is linked to v1 and a navy brief. Rear view and product accuracy are not established.

The supplier note records website use only. Social and advertising permission, expiry and independent rights review are not established.

  • Product accuracy not established
  • Rights review not established
  • Generated output not supplied
  • Publication not established

Make the remaining questions visible.

Confirm product accuracy against the physical item, obtain the missing views, review permission for the exact placement and agree the source version. A recorded supplier note can guide that review; it cannot complete it.

Measure only what has been observed.

This example has no generated files or delivery records. Image dimensions, generation cost, quality scores, channel acceptance, delivery and conversion impact are not established. A future connected workflow would need source-bound output files and separately recorded review and delivery evidence.

Questions before the next image brief

Does this generate or edit product photos?

No. The controls only switch fixed local worksheet records, views and questions. No file is uploaded or generated.

Does a recorded note establish use rights?

No. A statement and its recorded scope are context for a human review. Missing terms, expiry and independent review remain unknown.

Why is one reference empty?

PI-04 has no reference ID or recorded view. The example preserves that gap instead of drawing an invented source.
